American Empathy Now: Democrats Lost the Working Class and Vance Can Win it
Send in JD Vance
Bill Maher may have joined Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, Donald Trump and millions of former Democrats: “Democrats are cowardly…crazy stuff, when we’re cheering for the intifada If this is the Democrat side, yes (I) can see myself voting for JD Vance.”
Establishment Democrats melted down again this week, after Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) “hijacked,” DNC primaries across New York, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and more. The Democrat anti-American Marxist wing is taking over the party, and working class voters are walking away.
In Illinois nepo-billionaire Governor Pritzker pushed the socialist affordability hoax: “(I) made Illinois more affordable.”
For whom? Illinois now levies the highest combined state and local tax burden in the country. “Sanctuary” Chicago can not keep American kids alive, much less pay for 100,000 new illegal immigrants. Millions already fled the state. The people still stuck here feel the same stomach-churn every time they pay rent, fill up the car, open up a hospital bill, or see their property-tax bill. The same feeling drove millions out of Newsom’s CA, with the highest poverty rate in the US, and Hochul’s NY. Where is the joy?
When gently pressed on the numbers, Pritzker’s pivot was to smear President Trump, criticize ICE agents, and wobble off into a transphobia, racism and other divisive strawmen rant.
During the “Juneteenth” weekend in Chicago, a drive-by shooting left at least fourteen people wounded. The holiday period left eight people dead and thirty-nine wounded. Police received multiple reports of semi-automatic gunfire, in the city with the strictest US gun laws. Mayor Johnson pivoted to performative virtue signaling about “illiberal discrimination against trans people.”
No Chicago politicians discussed cultural pathologies which ignore black on black/poor on poor violence. Studies show that black/poor juveniles face a 1000% greater chance of getting shot during our post-pandemic lockdown era/the post-Floyd era. The primary victims of DEI ideology are almost always poor boys, young men, and their families. Democrat politicians keep ignoring the body count to protect irrelevant, divisive political narratives. This zero empathy obsession with narrative control is killing children.
The DSA’s rise makes sense. President Trump won 66% of the white working-class vote and 56% of US married voters from every race, religion and sexual orientation. Establishment DNC strategists “must” radicalize their base and dehumanize opponents. They spent the past ten years cramming Americans into categories like “deplorables,” “insurrectionists,” “white supremacists,” “Neo-Nazis,” and domestic terrorists.
The US didn’t go quite as far as Canada or the UK, locking up thousands for social media posts, or ignoting 250,000 UK rapes. Still, the US traditional corrective mechanism (free speech) was effectively buried until Elon Musk potentially salvaged our first amendment rights by buying Twitter.
The last decade taught us that government systems are corrupt. Voters now reject the idea that policy disagreement is rooted in bigotry. We no longer accept omnibus spending bills that only serve a ruling class or forever wars to “protect democracy” in totalitarian countries. All men are not “toxic.” Melanin challenged people are not congenitally racist. Anyone who criticizes Israeli politicians is not a confirmed antisemite. Election results, compiled in halts and spurts, weeks after an election are not “the most fair, of all time.”
Senator Lindsay Graham showed empathy for Brett Kavanaugh, during the smear show trial that attempted to block his SCOTUS confirmation. When Senator Graham died last week, Democrat trolls danced on his grave, all over social media.
Democrat sociopaths also danced on the grave of legendary father, husband, conversationalist, empath and free thinker Charlie Kirk, after he was brutally murdered by a Democrat indoctrinated terrorist.
A voting day that no longer decides anything is not democratic. It’s totalitarian theater: we would go on holding elections while working to make the outcomes independent of persuasion. Public legitimacy suffers.
Our coastal ruling class is free to smear opponents as fascist “threats to democracy.” They can call President Trump a dictator because he isn’t one. They’re free to protest “No Kings!!” because only dictators cancel protests and punish peaceful protesters, like US Democrats did after 1/6.
We have seen zero credible evidence that President Trump, JD Vance, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, JK Rowling, Dave Chappelle or other independent voices are evil, bigoted, or fascist existential threats to anyone.
So, with all of the things Democrats hate about Donald Trump on parade, Trump won the popular vote. The US representational republic elected Donald Trump. Hating Trump is not a governing program. We chose President Trump…at least twice.
The GOP has been blessed with seemingly sociopathic Democrats who seem totally unaware, or disdainful, of practical concerns of working people outside Blue “Sanctuary” cities. The last Democrat who claimed to “feel (our) pain,” was Bill Clinton, who, not long after he allegedly raped a woman advised her to “put some ice on that.”
MAGA doesn’t do scripted performative empathy. We deliver results. Vice President JD Vance is the antithesis of the coastal ruling class. He grew up in communities crushed by open borders and bad trade deals. He’s raising four children right now. He remembers the visceral struggle to afford enough food and feel safe in his own neighborhood. The Democrats cannot compete with him, no matter how many pronouns they claim.
Today, JD Vance can convene a White House manufacturing summit. He can expand and streamline tax credits for American capital investment. He can fast-track permitting for energy and factories. He can flood community colleges with partnerships for machining, welding, and advanced manufacturing.
Vance can launch a transparency project with public scoreboards for manufacturing jobs added and real wage growth for production workers. He can make weekly reshoring and capital investment announcements. He can announce a President Trump EO on full price transparency for electricity, fuel and healthcare.
VP Vance can provide transparent regional data on electricity and fuel prices. What states are doing the best? Where do we do the worst? What works? What is expensive or broken?
On health care, we can expand price transparency, and enable site-neutral payments. Expanded interstate competition can lower prices quickly.
Every initiative gets a simple test: does this put money into the pockets of hard-working Americans and give their children a better future. That’s an empathy test which starkly contrasts a joyless Democrat party who blithely ignore the US citizens who actually build America. The Democrat Socialists intentionally jacked up energy prices, for decades, to wage a “war on carbon/climate change.”
President Trump and JD Vance have a chance to deliver results and empathy now. America first.
